Facing the boring day
As if we must
Listening to our teachers' lectures
Just to gain their trust
We cope with their teachings
And learn a few new things
But that doesn't mean we can wipe
All the boringness it brings
All we need is a few times out
To get away from it all
Who needs a permission-slip?
When we can run before the teacher calls
O we'll have a serious fun indeed
From this dangerous risk we take
From skipping school to walk home late
We better have a convincing alibi to make
Though playing hooky is not encouraged
For it will put us in trouble
But anywhere is always better
Than to hear the teachers' rambles
We'll always remember
The things we did to school
The things we did for fun
The fun of breaking rules.
