Author's notes:
I got an interesting review for "At World's End" recently. I am sorry it was annonymus, and the person who wrote it did not leave me an e-mail where I could contact him/her privatly.
But this needed to be said anyway.
"At World's End" is a work of fiction, and does not necessarily expresses my view on things at a certain point in time. Is it blasphemy? Some may argue it is, some may argue it's not. Still, you may keep in mind that, although I was raised as a practicing Christian Orthodox, I am currently agnostic, and I've been greatly influenced by some "profane" works of fiction. Yes I do understand why one may call it blasphemy. I also understand that one's views are one's own.
And I also know Hell is suposed to be the lack of God (the Catholic view) or burning flames and all that (the Orthodox view ^^;;;). But for me, Hell is what we make it. Still, in this particular fic, Hell itself changes according to what the souls trapped in it believe in. Considering the general view on Hell, and the Greek/Roman Inferno, I made it up to be a desolate place ruled by the fallen angels. If the human view on Hell changed, then Hell itself would slowly change.
I hope this makes some sense.
