Joanie sighed, slumping against a tree before turning to look back at Kenton. "Do you have any idea on how long we've been walking?"
Kenton stoped and shook his head, now standing beside Joanie. "Unfortunealy I don't. But it does seem like a while, doesn't it?" He looked to the top of the trees, shielding the sun from his eyes with a raised arm.
Joanie's eyes closed as she sat down, head placed in her hands. "Khriti gave us no information what-so-ever! 'Go see my brother, Khrini, in the forest.' He didn't even say where in the forest!" She threw up her hands, exasperated. She was beginning to get very annoyed and tired, not somethingthat happened very often. "We don't even know if we're in the right forest."
Walking over, Kenton sat down beside her, a comforting arm comming to grasp her far shoulder with a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry Jo. We'll find Khrini and Gem. BUt first I think we both need a rest." He smiled warmly to her, Kenton hated to see his friends upset.
Joanie managed to simile back to him, though it was slightly forced. She gave him a light nod in response. "All right, but not for very long; I still want to find Gem." She replied, resting her head on the tree behind her.
All Joanie got for a reply was a light nod from Kenton, his head immedeatly moving to rest against the tree before he closed his eyes. Joanie wasn't very far behind in that, taking one more look at the unfamiliar surroundings and closing her eyes as well; both drifting off into light sleeps.

Gemini woke with a start, green eyes looking about her. The first thing that she noticed was that she was not in the forest anymore, there was no trees, foliage, animals or the feel of the wind. Instead she was in a fairly small room, each wall made of what looked like wood, colored in a pale green hue. There was one large window to her right, bark brown curtans hanging from a bright, gold rod, glinting in the light that was let through. The rest of the room was furnished nicely, most of the peices made of an elegant, red-ish wood.
Gemini carefully made her way from the large bed, now noting that she wasn't covered in mud, and she didn't know who's clothes she was in. She pushed this aside though, more curious as to how she got here and where 'here' was. Getting off the bed she slowly ventured forward, eyes weary for anyone comming through the large wood door.
It only took a moment longer for her to find a tray resting on the other side of the bed. It contained a small bun, an old fashined knife, butter, a bowl of soup and a golden goblet, filled with a strange red liquid. Gemini was hesitant to take a taste of the foreign food but a rumble of her stomach only encouraged her to fill up the empty void. Haistly she manouvered back over to the bed, sliding in before picking up the spoon that rested on the tray. It only took her a few moments to finish the meal, and she had to admit that it was amazing; even the drink had been good. With a smile she wiped her mouth with a small bit of fabric that had been placed with it before she looked about the room again. Becoming quite bored Gemini wondered what she could to do occupy herself, and she figured that finding out where she was would be a good idea at the moment. Getting up slowly from the bed she made her way over to the window, gently brushing aside one of the two peices of fabric.
The light that hit her caused her to cry out softly, her other arm comming up to sheild her eyes. She waited a few moments before slowly removing her arm, eyes still shut. Finally she opened them carefully, turning her gaze away from the two blaring suns. She now looked out from a very tall tower, the height almost making her dizzy. A few blinks pushed this away as she turned her attention to the surrounding lands.
Before her stretched a large feild, dotted lightly with sparce trees. The lush green grass and dense foliage of the trees told her that it was, most likely, summer or late spring. On either side of the feild there were forests, dense, black and menacing; just looking at them caused Gemini to shiver. Brushing those aside she looked back to the feild, her eyes scanning it before comming to where it ended. Her eyes caught what was beyond the feild, a vast body of water, stretching on as far as the eye could see. The water was clear, and glinted happily in the suns' rays and Gemini could even make out the waves that cascaded towards the shore.
Gemini steped back from the window, letting the curtain fall against the other, blocking out the rays of light. Looking out hadn't helped Gemini in finding out where she was, she had never been at a place like this ever before. A large frown found it's way to her face as she placed her hands firmly on her hip, gaze yet again traveling the room. Landing upon the door Gemini wondered if she could find out more about where she was if she was to explore the place she was in.
She took a deep breath before making her way towards the door. Only, she didn't make it there before she could see the golden handle twisting, signifying the entrance of another. With a jump Gemini quickly darted back over to the bed, hiding behind it as she awaited the person to enter the room.
