Ok, second chapter. I think this one doesn't have as many mistakes but I'm sure there will be, so I ask for your forgiveness. ( I wanted to make this part longer, but I seem to have gotten myself stuck so I'll post this and hope for latter inspiration.

"I'm not gonna make it..." was all in Ahne's mind as she kept running over the thatched roof... "I'm not gonna make it." It was all...until there was no roof. She kept on running for some seconds, the action already learned by her muscles which called for mercy but kept on, then, she shouted. Her scream was so loud even the beasts were spooked, jumping out of their shadowed hide-outs and pushed to a fast run out in the open to try and catch her. But she was already halfway down the way between the ledge and the cobbled street. She felt nothing at first. 'So this is death...' then the pain, the unbearable pain brought by snapping of her leg like a twig. The possible joy at finally reaching the end of the roof and losing the dark creatures wasn't enough to eliminate the hurt.

She fainted.

"...Ahne...Ahne..." she heard again the insistent voices, like an echo from another place, an echo. "Ahne...Ahne..." her eyes went wide open as the voice neared and neared; becoming a whisper in her ear and pulling her back from the darkness she'd created over her senses to avoid the pain in this already dark enough world.

"Dad!!" she screamed, not the pain wretched wild yell from an hour.a day? A year? ago. It still echoed, though, across the cobbled streets of grey- painted houses, as she hung from her father's figure. Both their eyes wept as they hung to each other, forming a dark red-tinted figure in the middle of the town square, warped from the nice and familiar looking public area to a dark trap.

"Come on sweetheart, we have to get out of here." He looked around in fear and broke the embrace, pulling himself up and pulling her up, her small figure still bearable by his strong arms. She wimpered a little and closed her eyes, battling against the pain of her bandaged leg. Xavi headed out, a strange sight even in this place, with his pants stripped out to fix as he could her daughter's leg, hair uncombed falling in black sweaty locks so alike his daughter's the blood relation was unmistakable.

The cute streets with houses so near their eeves almost touched now lost all their beauty, making Xavier run like a laboratory mouse in a maze of hell. No clear objective in mind, turning around like crazy trying to run out of town, but every time he though he was coming nearer the streets bended and warped before his eyes, throwing him back towards the square, nearer to the sounds of the...

"Greenies!" whimpered Ahne into his chest as the wicked yells of the beasts echoed again across town, chilling his spine and making him unconsciously hold the small girl against his chest.

"Shhh..." stopping and carefully and moves some hair from both his and her face, "...what are you talking about?" Anything could lead them out, he has to know.

"Those...those things! Monsters!" her sobbing increases but she fights it down, everything would be fine now that her father was here, yes. "They...they chased me, they were chasing me...no...they were pulling me to be their food." Her words all mixed into one another and barely escaped her mouth in a comprehensible manner.

Her father hushed her and once again calmed her against his chest, moving on as a feeling of being the center purposefully mean staring grew and he barely could look over his shoulder to dispel it...
