Open the Door, See the Light

This is a poem about acceptance and the circle of give and take that should in life occur. It is not one the major jewels in my crown so to speak, but it has a good message.

Open The Door

Open the door, see the light

Step up to the threshold

Then walk into the sparkling light

Don't be shy, but accept it

You are part of the glow, not separate

The light contributes and so do you

To make the light and you as bright as can be

Constant give and take

None winning, none losing

Just working to get a bright light

To let others see the light,

and smile.
