Mark ran his fingers through his black hair and sighed heavily as his golden eyes darted to the duffle bags on the floor of his room.

"Are you ready yet?" His mother yelled from downstairs. "That plain isn't going to WAIT for us!" Mark stood and slung the duffle bag over his shoulder. 'You have been chosen to attend a forgin exchange program in-... It was a dream come true for Mark, sure, but he wasn't too crazy about flying that night. Something told him it was wrong. Sure, the country he was flying over to was United States friendly, but he wasn't sure it was right. Too easy.

Driving to the bus station was the last time he would see his mom. It was kind of scary, and embarrassing, at first, having his mom wave him off as the bus stop.

Sitting down on the bench, he waited for headlights to come into view. Pulling his duffle bag up onto his shoulder as he started his steps onto the curb.

Mark turned slightly to the sound of some leaves brushing up against metal. As he turned he was a girl, with one leg crooked on top of the chain link fence.

"What are you-"

Before Mark could even start his question, everything around him went white. He was picked up off the pavement and grounded against the fence he had been looking at only a split second later.
