Ian's Poem

I wanted to write you a poem,

I think I wanted to say sorry,

Though perhaps I owe an apology,

To someone else.

What would you say,

If I had something to say,

That when said,

There'd be nothing left to say?

Life's to hard,

So it can't be that easy.

We'll end up apart,

Quite like we started.

I'll never forget you,

And you'll never forget me,

But all we can be,

Is a memory.
