Here's another poem from my poem-writing phase. This is a takeoff on the famous line all the world's a stage. Ah, Shakespeare!
All the World
All the world's a stage
And we all have roles to play
And though Life may last an age
it seems, you only tarry here, never stay.
All the world's a stage
And we shall all take our final bows one day
Though Life is all too short
We all shall live to play.
All the world's a stage
but we'll make it our best show
Though Life may be like a cage
there's so much there to see before we go.
