I wrote these following poems about a day or so after the War started. They are my own relfections and also the memories of others, who lived through the last war, the Persian Gulf War. I wanted to see for myself how much time had passed, how much had changed, and how much had really remained the same. I have taken 10 persepectives, 10 personalities, and sent them back, 12 years ago, to where I believe they might have been when the world was once again on the cusp of War.
