Through The Eyes Of A

Goddess

Eternity.

A circle, never-ending, always turning.

A river, going nowhere and everywhere, swift-flowing and deep.

Freeze - a moment in time...

A small girl, about fifteen, with thick dark hair and silver-gray eyes, pauses. She is within a midday crowd; all around her is movement, but she stands like a rock, unmoving and strong.

Eternity resumes.

A circle returns to its never-ending wheeling.

A river returns to its previous course, the current running as deep as before.

Freeze - the second moment...

A tall girl, around eighteen, with long red hair and silver-gray eyes, pauses. She is the center of a m?e; all around her is the fight, and she, a warrior in herself, stands like a rock, a rallying point for her people.

Eternity returns.

A circle resumes its never-ending swinging.

A river resumes its previous course, the current running as swift as before.

Freeze - the third moment...

An average woman, perhaps thirty, with gray-streaked brown hair and silver-gray eyes, pauses. She is in the middle of an island; all around her, everything goes on as before, but she stands like a rock, a point of trust in a traitorous land.

Eternity goes on.

A circle, never-ending, keeps on turning.

A river, going nowhere and everywhere, keeps on, swift-flowing and deep.

Freeze - all moments together...

All three, standing together with proud bearings and silver-gray eyes, pause. They are at the center of a troubled world; all around them their people live out their lives, unaware of the others below them who suffer, but they are a beacon of hope in a world that has far too little.
