The pair of girls giggled merrily

Not knowing of their future

One may die, the other live

Both may never see light again

But for now they are just a pair

Two innocent little ladies

Not caring who may die or live

Only wanting to live this moment

One died in her sleep that night

The other did not cry

She put a smile on her face

And reminded the others why

She was special, a grace of God

Illness changes all our plans

Condenses them to shorter times

But do not dwell on the dark future

Make the most of what time you have
