I'm suppose to run. I know that, but where did I learn that?

The phone call.

Run! I screamed over and over again in my head. Move damn it! I tried to get up but my legs would not move. I knew the only way to stand was to take his offer outstretched to me. Somehow, I knew that if I took it I would no longer be myself.

Scooting myself backwards, someone hooked their arms under mine and pulled me up. Well, It was _two_ people. To my left was Mika. To my right? Areus.

The boy looked somewhat stunned that I had not taken his offer. Like a spoiled prince to witch everyone bowed down. Like a spoiled prince.

I finally stood, straightened my ruffled cloths and raised myself up. "Who are you?"

Instantly the boy grabbed hold of my arm and started to pull me out. Out? Out. Out the door of the Villa! Oh no! Help! "I will explain. Not now." He waved his hand over out to the rest of the class. They froze.

Just like that.

A spell?

"I'll have her back soon enough." I didn't like that smile. It wasn't a smile, it was a smirk. A smirk of complete control. Then, we left. Just, walked out the door and off the grounds. It seemed as if I was in a dream.

The place he had his hand gripping me was tingling. As if it had been asleep in a strange position and the blood had just now started to re- circulate.

I stumbled along the sidewalk, houses of all similar make swam into few. It was mildly warm, but as we continued walking, my palms started to sweat. The boy looked calm and cool as could be. I sneered. How dare he.

After a good hour's walk, we came across the small river that ran near the boarder of this town and the huge un-built hills. Down the bank we slid, mud collecting in the cracks in my shoes. He finally let go of me, just to pull out a small dagger. I looked behind me. Because we took a side trail off the road, civilization looked so far away.

"Prick your finger." His steely eyes locked on to mine. I felt my arm reach out and grab the bone handle of the small, gold inlayed blade.

"N-no. I will not! Why? What are you-" My mind was racing, but I found that, as I looked into those eyes, I could not move. The blade pressed up against my skin, and my own hand was holding it. He was controlling my movements. It was, so hard, just to keep myself from crying out.

The blade sunk inches into the palm of my left hand. I felt my right arm twist the blade until droplets of blood spilled out onto the perfect silver crafts-work. He took the blade as I stumbled slightly. He raised it and dropped it into the stream. Pointing it strait down so the point squarely cut into its bed.

That's when I fell, into him. I knew, or realized that I was suppose to stay behind, from the way he was trying to push me away, but he had to catch me.
