catharsis

storms roil within
building pressure against pale skin
knotting muscle, clenching fists
as wind shrieks to be freed

pain and pleasure
pleasure and pain
both are one
and both are the same

rain pounds through veins
flooding senses, drowning all
lightning crashing through dying brain
seeking a way to escape

pain and pleasure
pleasure and pain
both are one
and both are the same

slash and the burn of fire
the wind cries victory
trapped rain trickles down like scarlet
and all hell yells that it's free

pain and pleasure
pleasure and pain
both are one
and both are the same

scrape and the pressure lessens
cut and the chaos is eased
slash and the night is fading
as blood wells up to sigh release

pain and pleasure
pleasure and pain
both are one
and both are the same
are the same
the same...
