Sometimes I wish that

I could slow time down,

savour each moment

while it's still here.

Instead time is flying,

And no matter what I do,

I am helpless.

We're all growing older,

15 this year, 16 next.

Soon we'll be dating,

driving, even graduating.

I wish I could hold time as it is,

To savour what I have.

Friends who truly care,

family surrounding me,

a life that I hold dear to my heart.

so much will change,

and right now, I wish

the days would slow down,

stop becoming weeks so quickly,

rapidly turning to months.

The school year is almost gone,

we are all growing older,

And sometimes, I wish,

time would stop flying,

and come down to earth,

so that I could savour the time,

that is now.
