Alone and Broken

A wretched scream.

A plea in the night

      that goes unanswered.

Here I stand.

Alone I stand.

Cast aside

      broken and used

      empty and hollow.

Silently I beg.

Silently I plead.

Yet still

      you walk away.

Leaving me here.

Killing me here.

Let me fall

      into the pain

      inside.

There you shall

      feel no guilt

      as I cry

      bloody tears.

A sob ripped

      passed my cold

      dead lips

      as you toss me aside.

Not a second

      look or thought.

I am brushed away

     like a spec

     of dust, holding no worth.

It’s happened

     so many times before.

I am left,

Alone and Broken.
