Self-Control
By Jordi Sharpe

It's always about self-control.

That tiny voice inside of your head

(Not your conscience, that two-faced ass),

the one that tells you off for

taking too many servings.

Yes, it is rather a annoying being;

however, it can get you out

of sticky situations.

My self-control is called Cyd.

Why? Who knows and who cares?

All I know is Cyd is smart.

For instance, I usually waste

good money on music.

But Cyd always smacks my wrists

and admonishes me when I over do it.

However, as of late, Cyd's been stressed.

He's on vacation now, and I've grown hungrier.

While Cyd is getting a nice tan,

I'm getting fatter.
