Shape shifting energy
skipping in the dale.
Floating on the breeze 'round
grassy hillocks of dew.
Easing the brimming well
of fallen rain.
Shrinking from the molten
heat of errant lava flows.
Smiling in the morning sun,
gazing awestruck at nighttime's allure.
Shivering at wind's frostbitten grasp,
hiding from dark's shadowed desires.
Lightly touching jeweled temptations,
gasping at jolting sensations.
Taming chaotic beings of mystery,
standing statuesque, observing all.
Author's Note: Yay! I finally found time to post something. Take that college papers and exams! Ah summer time to write and read again. I actually wrote this poem a few months back. Myself, being the cryptic person I am, decided to devote each short little line an emotion. Anyway, drop a review and let me know what you think. *The 'creature of emotion' gives a wink and gestures to the review button*
