Killer

I’ve watched you sulk, I’ve seen your tears,

Which drown the light of day.

And how you disregard your fears

In hopes you’ll fall away.

You walk the steps you’ve walked before,

Each time you sing a different song.
Each time it kills me a little more,

To watch your life go wrong.

I know the secret you’ve been hiding,

Behind your pretend state of confusion.

I’ve shot the horses upon which your dreams were riding,

With your musical bliss in illusion.

So destroy your heart, destroy your soul,

But let your conscience lie.

Cause when all is reconsidered,

It would be foolish not to die.

I am your mind, your truthful soul,

I am your sanity who has lost control.

I am the eyes in the back of your head,

I am the killer you thought was dead.
