It came to me in pulses,

Short distances apart,

From past souls that have been touched by you.

It was enjoyable painful,

This ringing of knowledge in my ears,

I have never felt so alone and powerful.

But at first sight of it,

I cried, just laid right down and died,

And wept for you, and for me.

But the truth was the last push,

In the progress of my rebirth,

And soon I had left the womb of self-pity.

Now the fresh air flows through my lungs,

And the cloudiness of your eyes,

Cast a reflection of me on the ground.

Just like the fresh air, though,

The thoughts in my head are not new,

Yet revised, and now the reasons have come.

Truth is the deciding factor of a life,

For success, and all that matters.

Why then, was it so hard to discover?

Beneath the folds of your complicated mind,

I know you hold a simple reason,

Something you so simple, you can’t understand.

When you dig deep enough,

Life is simple, existing to find something,

Have you found it yet?

There must be a reason so simple,

Why you are here,

The truth about you, it hurts.

But pain is good.

It brought about the light in me,

Light from my eyes, landed across your face.

More than ever, I feel unattached,

Yet still chained to the essence of you,

Because knowing is to be attached.
