Dear Dad,
Why don't you care??
I'm your only daughter
Shouldn't that seem special to you??
You should try to be a part of my life
But no
You have to work and work and work,
And not have time for your daughter.
So what if we don't live in the same house
So what if you work all the time
That isn't an excuse to not see me
I see you three times a year;
My birthday, your birthday, and Christmas.
Doesn't that sound wrong to you?!?!
We live 15 minutes from each other.
I can't drive yet, and I can't walk to your house.
You're the parent, you should take time
To see me.
Fine, think not of your only daughter
Who longs for a father.
