Everyone Else

This is my life.
I stand alone here.
Apart from everyone.
Different.
It was my mistake.
Nothing would be my
greatest wish then
to be just like
everyone else.
I stand, alone.
Sit, alone.
Read alone.
Be alone.
Live alone.
There are no
friends for me here.
Why doesn't anybody
care?
Why doesn't anybody
reach out to me?
Why doesn't anybody
notice me?
I am just different.
Not special.
Just different.
So why does
it matter so much
To shove me
aside
off the earth?
You don't want
me here.
So when
that tear ran down
my face,
I meant it.
I will live like this,
forever.
Yes,
I want to be just like
everyone else.
