The Key To My Smile

A sudden wave of radiance,

That emulates from your countenance,

Revives my soul, between my sighs,

I see an angel in your eyes.

I can’t help but feel unworthy,

To stand beside such a feminine beauty.

Such a passionate array of emotions to intertwine,

Dreaming forever, this full moon will shine.

Sometimes I gaze off into the white pillows of the sky,

In a sentimental daze, I believe I can fly.

The brightest sun radiates from your soft lovely skin,

And every miracle of the world pulses within.

The world’s a wasteland without the presence of you,

A nightmare beyond tolerance, with a hunger to be true.

If only I had known that such a girl existed all the while,

You possess the key to my smile.
