I wrote this after I heard about a group of French people spray painting American W. graves, and burning American flags in protest of the war on terror. I am anti-war but I don’t think that was an appropriate way to protest. This is told from a d-day victioms point of veiw.

I fought for you,
and for thanks?
you burn my flag,
decrease my grave.
All for what,
you don’t agree?
Blame your government,
Do not blame me,
My blood was spread on you beaches,
I shut my eyes and died.
Now you curse my very name?
See my widow cry,
for I am no longer here.
For you to live, I had to die.

Please review, Please please please review.
And read my other stuff.
