Let My Soul Drift Away
My soul is dreary,
All left alone.
My soul is rigid
It feels like stone.
My soul is vulnerable,
It is easily wounded,
All this nothingness
Let this stop, I bid.
My soul shall drift,
Drift far away.
Nothing this tedious
Deserves to stay.
So I am soulless,
Who here cares?
I never had anything
Important to share.
My soul slowly,
Slowly starts to drift,
The fading is no harm,
The current is swift.
Will I ever retrieve
My forgotten dark soul?
Only time will tell,
And only god shall know.
