Nightmare
The water ran down the rushing fall,
I felt so tiny, unimportant and small.
It seemed to suck my feet in the river,
The wetness of the water made me shiver.
The water sucked me deep into gloom,
It was growing very dark and soon,
I wasn't in the sparkling liquid now,
I was in a place of terrible rows.
I was feeling a little insecure,
Because I really wasn't sure.
I quivered as I looked straight above,
And I saw a gliding, creamy, white dove.
It soothed me down, I felt safe there in,
But I was caught in a rapid and thrown in a spin.
I twisted and turned, I lost and won,
But then came the sound of a beating drum.
I had made it to the side rivers bed,
And there on a stick stood a PERSON'S HEAD!
Indeed of course I had lost the battle,
I was now being chased by RAVENOUS CANNIBALS!
I ran as fast as my legs could carry,
And then I heard HARRY! HARRY!
I woke up to find I had not lost my head,
My mum was calling to get out of bed.
