The Heavens
Early in the morning the heavens open wide,
And all of a sudden I feel a sense of warmth inside.
I will always know when God looks after me,
I can feel a sense of passion and I know that I am free.
God is my Father, He will always love me,
For love is not all that God will give me.
And when I see the light, dancing in the sky,
I know God will love me for the rest of my life.
So I will never worry when times get really tough,
'cause I know God will love me when my heart is very rough.
And when my friends are in a spot and they don't feel very proud,
All I do is call to God sitting on His cloud.
He sends me down some beautiful beings that come from a beam of light,
And then He sends them to the people while they sleep at night.
The next day they have a beaming smile going from cheek to cheek,
And that's what I do when a situation gets so bleak.
