You freeze my bones
Yet you bring precious snow.
You take the warmth
Yet you create ice for the little ones to play.
You block out sweet sunshine
Yet you still bring joy.
What are you really?
You cannot
Be both good and evil.
What do you feel?
You cannot have
Both sides of human nature.
What do you want?
Are you a protective mother
Coming back each year to comfort her frightened children?
Who do you work for?
Are you only a lowly disillusion
A wolf hidden in sheep's clothing?
And what always makes you
Come back to chill me?
Mime: 'Kay, by now, you'll have to have noticed that I ask a lot of
questions in my poems. That's just because that when I'm writing about
life, I feel as if there are so many things out there that we don't know.
You always hear adults telling you to ask if you don't understand
something, and I guess this is just my way of asking. Sorry if you don't
understand. I know that sounds a little confusing, but it's the way my very
imaginative mind works. Please review!
