The night was cool and cloudy. There were not many stars out, but the few that shone through were very bright and alluring. The park was secluded, no one about but the trees. The trees were dancing to a silent, seductive tune. No creatures were stirring in the night. Only the calm, cool breeze rustled the dry, cracking leaves.
The girl giggled magically. Her voice soft and sultry. She was amazingly beautiful. With the star light gleaming on her face, and her hair blowing in the breeze, she looked like an angel.
He had never seen anyone look so beautiful. She was perfect in everyway. He tried to call to her, but found that he had no voice. He could not talk, nor could he move. He could only stand there and marvel at her beauty.
She started to move, to slowly glide away. He didn't want to lose her, so he quickly followed after her. She turned to look at him, giggled, and darted away again. He still followed.
"Who are you?" He found that he did have a voice after all. The girl did not answer him, but just smiled gently, before turning away again. He called after her again, "I said, who are you? Why won't you answer me?"
The girl glanced at him, ducking behind a tree. He went around to the tree. The girl did not turn away, but just looked him in the eyes. "I think you know who I am." She whispered.
"Do I?" He asked. He took her hands in his. He was amazed at how soft her skin was. He kissed the palm of each hand.
"Of course you do." She kissed his cheek, then quickly ran off to hide behind another tree.
"Why are you playing this game?" He called after her. "I don't understand."
"Yes, you do. Just think, and the answer will come to you." The girl called back from behind the tree.
"Have we met before?" He asked.
"You know we have." The girl whispered.
"When? Where?"
"Aren't you just full of questions tonight?" The girl giggled. He had hold of her hands again.
"Tell me. Now." His eyes pleaded with hers.
"I am everything that you think you want. Perfection. Romance. Beauty. I am everything you already have. You just haven't realized it yet." She murmered to him. She looked deeply into his eyes, pleading with him to understand.
"You're her, aren't you? The girl in my first dream. Am I dreaming again?"
"Yes. You have to let me go. You have to understand that what you want is what you have." The girl gently replied.
"I don't have to let you go. I found you. You're Laci, my best friend." He snapped. He was tired of her foolish games.
"Laci and I are two different people. I'm just a dream, but she's real." The girl smiled sadly. "Do you love me? Do you love her?"
"Of course I love her!" He replied.
"Then let me go. You don't need me anymore. I'm just a dream. Go, Justin, it is time for you to live in the real world. And forget me." The girl had tears in her eyes now.
"I'm sorry. I tried to find you, but then I realized that even if I did...I still wouldn't be happy. I couldn't be happy with anyone but Laci." He looked down, ashamed at hurting the girl.
"It's okay, because now I can go free. Be happy, Justin." The girl gave a bright smile. She quickly kissed him on the cheek.
He looked down at their clasped hands. He was still holding on. With a final sigh, he let go of her hands, and watched, as she ran into the night, one last time.
