Abandoned

You left me, but I wasn't ready for you to leave
I needed you for just a moment longer
I feel dead inside but I'm still alive
It hasn't killed me, but I don't feel stronger

I can't stand, you left me, just left me
You were my ankles, and you left me
How can I sleep without my dreams
I won't wake up to the absence of light
I can't sleep until you come back to me

You left me, but I wasn't ready for you to go
Only a moment more was all I asked of you
I know you won't come back, I won't hope
I have lost faith in all that you do

I can't be, let me leave, just leave me
It was easy for you, you just left me
How can I stay without my light
I won't live a life absent of dreams
I will sleep, for you won't come back to me
