Silence

the ticking of the clock is endless
we shall never know when it'll stop
it may be now, later, tommorow
and we should not wait for it to come
every minute, every second is a life
a life that should be worth spent
though some things are done, some things are not
let silence give way to your decision

i wish i can sing the melody of your voice
the sound of your comfort and your laughter
for the silence of the evening is enough
to let your whisper travel far
let me be the one to start it
let me be the one to tell you
your wonders are magic that hypnotizes me
and i shall fall helplessly into your arms

i listen to the cry of my heart
but my mind wraps it with black solid cloth
it drains my energy but i hold on to you
i know you will not let go, not let me fall
you will not let the silence of the night
cover me up and give me fright
you'll wipe my tears so i won't run away
the silence shall shout soon...
