The twisted wreckage
A ball of fire;
The sharp squeal of tires
Precede this dread nightmare,
The nightmare of pain and death.
The car's hull smolders.
The bodies are scorched.
An ambulance squeals.
Another stanza haiku (look in 'Lost Dreams') where the first stanza has 5
syllables in each line, the second has 7 syllables in each line, and the
third has 5 syllables a line. Some times it's easier for me to express my
thoughts if I have more room, but I still enjoy the syllable format. This
was inspired by a story on the news, where some guy crashed is car into a
utility pole at 140 MPH. It was horrible.
