Afraid to Say
I write you poetry.
That's all I do,
Write constantly.
My poems, they enable me to say
All the emotions
I'm too scared to directly give away.
When I'm with you,
I feel it and wonder
Do you feel it too?
I always wonder if you know
The feelings I have
But am scared to let go.
Could you possibly understand
The rush I get
When you hold my hand?
Could you understand the simplest things?
Like when I'm with you,
The way my heart just positively sings?
I write you poetry.
That's all I do.
Write constantly.
I hope that in some way
My poems can tell you
The words that I can never say.
