MEDITATION

The beauty that is nature

Exists since long ago

And cannot be explained

By any words I know

While basking in the warmth

Of the ever radiant sun

I listen to the song of birds

Their calls forging into one

I listen to the wind

As it rustles through the leaves

Echoing the language

Used only by the breeze

I listen to the water

As the river rushes by

Above the clouds glide past carefree

Forming figures in the sky

Just stop and sit in silence

And appreciate this world

Only then will beauty be

In its finest form unfurled

AUTHOR'S NOTE: A different form of meditation, I guess. But it works all the same. I went on a leadership camp the other day and after a long downhill hike, we came to a beautiful spot near a river in one of the many beautiful valleys in Western Australia. For 20 minutes, we had to sit in silence by ourselves. I took this time to relax and reflect. And since I love nature so much, I was inspired to write this too. I hope you liked it, please review. Greatly appreciated :)
