Expand Tighten

I have been told every thing will be ok
Maybe not today, but tomorrow brings a new day
Comfort turns to damage
I held onto what was said
I would tell myself over and over
"Every thing will be ok"
But it only made life darker
Like holding onto a gust of wind
Its unseen and turns you into a different direction
Damaging souls
Damaging lives
With a comforting lie.
