If you are wondering where this came from it was when I was at home and it was about dusk. I heard fireworks outside that my dad said were part of a graduation party. So I ran around the neighborhood and through people's backyards to try and find it, but the trees blocked my way and no matter where I ran there were trees.

And so I ran back, but the fireworks were sort of teasing me because I couldn't see them. And so I tried to run back the path I came and ran into a neon strip of ribbon I had miraculously avoided before. And because of that I was flung off to run into a bush, and I realized that the way I had come before was a newly paved driveway. Oops.

So I took another path that was less direct and with clumpy, muddy ground that made me stumble. I thought a bush was a person, watching me, from the corner of my eye and I just got terrified for some reason. My eyes hadn't adjusted to the light and everything was black and fuzzy. In my mind, it was daylight, and I was navigating my well known neighborhood through what I remembered to be there. When I got back inside I was terrified and collapsed against the door, waiting for my vision to eventually return.
