Pathways

Winding roads go down,

Much as the days come between,

My heart meanders.

                                                            From this part of life,

Unto another, but never seemingly,

Wandering is carefulness in earnest.

Days began then when you saw,

And then asked me when I was pained

Cause I just never knew that.

Like the rocky path my guidelines move,

Widening and thinning out for less,

My pain is now forgotten.

                                                            I am cold inside,

Cold without the reassurance,

Need to know my path lines.
