Velvet

Your shadow comes back to haunt my bed

when I try to remember the things you’ve said

before you came, before the burst

of when you gave me that heavenly thirst.

My lips love to trace across your skin,

stealing the warmth of where you’ve been.

Gentle lies,

pressing closer to feel your thighs

Feeling the quiver of your body in its thrill

To give you the last kiss against my will.

Sticky, messy, yet engaging lust

quickening with each new thrust.

Now I’ve found my fervent place

unwrap the velvet silk from my face

Show me the world through love’s pained gaze

be my moon in a sexed up phase.

All I want to do is fuck you,

why do you need me to love you too?
