Everything is so loud
People's shrill laughter echoes in my ears.

They talk non-stop
about nothing at all
And all the time
their voices are
so loud.

Footsteps thud against the hard floor
do they think they are so important
that they have to announce themselves?

Girls voices so high pitched
they make my teeth grind.
Their laughter so shrill
so bloody annoying
it grates on my nerves.

Guy's footsteps thud heavily
each step making the floor shake
their loud obnoxious voices bounce off the walls
they make me cringe.

Why must people be so loud?
Why must girls voices be so high-pitched?
Why must guys be so obnoxious?
Why am I the only one bothered by it?
