She carefully opened her eyes, frightened at she imagined she would soon see. A blinding, seeing light consumed her vision and perused her soul. "Heaven," she whispered to herself, but a voice in her head told her differently.

"Myuta?"

"Yes, child, very good. Now get up…"

The light faded and Sakura found she could see again. Everything as how it was, but the world was dark and shadowed, as if it was night outside. But no time had passed.

"Where am I?"

"The second dimension, child. Now claim what belongs to you, what belongs to me…"

With a quiet groan Sakura rose to her feet, surveying the room haphazardly. It was the same as before, but things were darker. She could sense the evil that made permanent residence here. Could this be a parallel of her own world?

She walked into the kitchen, where black instead of gold sunlight shone through the windows. Shadows disfigured the kitchen that she knew so well.

Her killer stood at the sink, his back to her. She could tell he was washing his hands, cleansing his pale hands of the blood and the guilt. She studied his back while he scrubbed the knife and set it on the drying board.

He had black hair spiked upon his head, and she knew too well what his eyes looked like. A disarming green that would not let you go. Muscles showed through his pale, almost translucent skin. Being a ghost, she did not feel guilty watching him. He was probably in the first dimension, completely unaware.

But he turned, he saw her. She looked deep into his eyes and he looked deep into hers, and they both knew that the other was there, in reality, too. He gasped, noticing the absence of a wound on her stomach and only a ripped shirt stained with blood. "You’re the one," he whispered.

Now it was her turn to stare. "What do you mean?"

He smirked. "What I mean is," he grabbed the kitchen knife with a hand and hurled it at Sakura. She caught the blade an inch from her face and dropped it to the ground. He looked at her for a minute didn’t seem to make much from it. Blood dripped from her hand, and she grimaced at the sight. But she was ultimately shocked at how she had done what she had done. But with a tingling sensation, her hand healed. She looked up to the demon, but he was gone.

The open back door was all she needed. She ran out it after him, knowing that when she was done, he would show some emotion for killing her entire family. She would make him scream.

"But listen child," Myuta’s voice whispered in her ear. "He has stolen something, and you need to claim it not only for me, but for yourself."
