your eyes sparkled as they reflect the rays of the morning sun. i was momentarily blinded by the brightness of your smile. you have something to tell me, that much i understand. but what, that i don't know.

i watch ur eyes brighten as you try to catch my attention. a gust of wind blew your brown hair to cover your eyes. i move to brush it away but i have only started to raise my hand when you impatiently brush them aside. you grabbed my hand and held it tight. a smile playing on your lips, but laughter light up your eyes.

you wrapped your strong arms around me and twirled me in circles. a smile lighting up my face for the first time that day. around and around you go until i begged you stop. still laughing, you tried to steady yourself while im still in your arms. i screamed as i felt myself falling, but you where there to cushion my fall. tighter still, you wrapped your arms around me. burying your face in the crook of my neck. whispering apologies as your hold turned tighter.

i rest my head on your hair, inhaling the sweet scent of your shampoo. my smile never leaving my face, but my eyes sparkled with unshed tears. i tried to blink them away as i tighten my hold on you as well.

i never want to hear your news now. i want everything to remain as is.

the two of us lying there as the sun make its way across the sky.

and as the wind died down and begin to dance again.

i want to be with you forever.
