I’m just standing in the way
You don’t know what you make me feel
It’s worse than fire, than burning steel
But don’t wait for me, you’re free, you know
But I never thought I would let you go
Please, leave, don’t wait for me
But know that you got a dog
Stay the furthest from me
Or you’ll get lost into the fog.
I’ll slow you down and I want you to be happy
Even if it means you leaving me
Patiently I’ll bide my time
And maybe one day you’ll be mine
Till this imaginary day I dread
I’ll be there, crying and shivering
Thinking of you, almost dead
Beaten by you without fighting
I wish I had tamed you
So as to play with you
I wish I had stolen your freedom
To lead you to my home.
I’d like to kill what makes you anguished
To see solace on your face
I’d like to see your fire extenguished
And put mine at its place.
I simply would like to
Have the right to watch you
Whenever and wherever I want to
Have the right to look at you
Still in the shadows, only being a shadow
Never moving, never talking
Only gods and devils know
That I’ll be suffering
Maybe we won’t see eachother anymore
Maybe some day... If gods are kind
This day, I only have to hope for
But I’ll just be a forgotten memory on your mind.
I don’t hope for anything from you
Just watching you, silently
And from afar, I don’t want you to see me
You can’t know I’m dying for you.
I have to go away
I would just stand in the way.
English is not my first language, and It would be good to leave me a review to see if I have a hope in English poetry. I’d like to thank one of my friend, Gerwynn, who corrected it. Thanks man !
See you soon,
Ripper...
