Down the shadowed halls
I steadily creep
Sweat on my face
Water at my feet
A monster jumps out
The Queen's loyal servant!
I cackle insanely
As I happily burn it
In the shadows, demons arise
But I face them determinedly,
Before screaming in fright
As they come after me
Further along, I hear something 'snap'
And feel myself fall
My legs move under me
In a way not natural at all
Numbly I lift myself
This isn't going well
My staff is broken
Oh damn it to hell
A light up ahead!
I've found it at last!
A flick of the wrist
Disables the traps
I giggle in triumph
As I claim my prize
Tomorrow the Queen
Is in for a big surprise
Morning dawns clear
As the Queen awakes
She steps out
And soon falls to the floor
There's a hole by her bed
And look! Three more!
Her loyal servant walks in
Meowing piteously.
She stomps to my lair
Screeching at me
"Kat you're dead!
She bellows, tackling me to the bed
Oh well, at least I got my mango
