Tears
Why do I have them?
For joy
For happiness
For grief
For sadness
These salty drops
Run down my cheeks
As my throat struggles
To speak
Alone
I would prefer
To Be
When I cry
In my bed
With my head aginst my pillow
Then they won't laugh
Those
Like my brother
When I feel these hot tears
rolling down, down, down
They show what I'm thinking
That I'm scared, hurt or sad
I try to hide them
But they come
Tears
Why do I have them?
I guess
Because
It feels good
To cry
Sometimes.
