Sitting still,
with thought as my umbrella,
caught amid the storm of dreams.
Woken to an open eye
that drops its light in scattered beams.
I yawn away the yesterday
and
breakfast for the present,
Though I want nothing but to leave,
this day is very pleasant.
With sleep filled eyes
I breathe
the morning
like a secret lovers kiss.
The grass unshorn,
adorned with dew,
I think of you the one I miss.
A day with sunlight in my world
My day's foundation laid with light
A morning poem on the breeze
To soar to new heights like a kite.

I had a happy phone call last night, I'm in a good mood today.
