A scene in.

The room around me is pitch black. It scares me every time I am here. It is so stupid, I know but darkness freaks me out - even here. There are people around me - chatting and laughing - but I can't see them. It's so freaky. I hear noises that sound so weird. Almost like a monster eating his victims. No! I said darkness freaks me out. I shouldn't be worried. Next to me is someone I really like. It's the first time for us. Oh, I hope he doesn't sense my nervousness! I wish the lights would come back o it would start, finally start. Nothing. why does it always appear so long. Huh, he jut said something to me! I better smile. Damn, he doesn't even see me! Don't freak out, don't freak out is my mantra all the time. Light, I need light! Suddenly, a loud click and all I hear is music. The movie has started! God, am I relieved! I can breathe again! The people around me have become more quite but they still chew their popcorn. Didn't I have popcorn, too? Oh, he has it. All right, this is the best school excursion ever. I try to concentrate on the commercial but I can't because he is next to me. Uh, what will I do when the movie is scary? I am always scared, ain't I? He just said something again. I turn to him and smile, wondering how that evening will end.
