The Autumn leaves grow a soft gold in time,
As the silky frost fills the moon.
The sun sneaks over the grass ridden moors,
While the ruby dawn begins soon.

I have been sitting on this grass,
For years as it may seem.
Seeking the moon as it did pass,
Behind the suns’ bright gleam.

My eyes have witnessed no shadow,
When it swallowed up the sun.
I always doubt that when below,
The clouds mask out their fun.
