This stanza haiku is about King David of the Bible, for those of you who don't know.

A humble shepherd
The youngest of his brothers
Master of the harp

The annointed king
A man after God's own heart
The chosen leader

A mighty warrior
Full of the strength of the Lord
Fearless man of faith
