If walking on my own,
i thought that i could fly,
i would know, that you
were giving me the wings to try.
If under night time diamonds,
that wake nocturnal eyes,
i lost my way
and fumbled, you
would be my bright sunrise.
If age dissolves to wisdom,
like a wave stretched
on the beach, grasping
for an answer
in its never ending reach.
And wisdom held the answer,
like the final missing clue,
that would give me,
the key
to being home and holding you,
i would never cease my search for wisdom
hoping it were true.
