"Joyous Redemption"
By: Darcy Took

I hate to do this to you all
But my mind is daring me
To pull the trigger
To cut deeper
To simply jump
Then my pain
Oh my pain would
No longer wield its hold
Upon my longing soul
Yet it still lingering
Tortures me,
Pulling at my urge to live

I accept the minds dare
I will pull the trigger
I will cut deeper
And most of all I will
Test God’s ability to save
In taking my faithless jump
Off my cliff of discrimination

I fall……..

The wind blowing
Sounds like a bitter sweet melody
Echoing through my bones
Filling them with
Some kind of satisfaction
grim, untold

My fire is burnt out
Blown out by the wind
That I had longed for

My Soul is put into
An unease rest
I accomplished my goal
Yet it sends chills
Down my spine of Existence

Satan welcomes me home

I smile

Joyous Redemption
