Helping others bide their time,

Helping others stay alive,

Helping others through pain and hardship,

Helping others is what I do.

After helping for a while,

People sometimes do not want you around anymore,

As if you were never a help at all.

People say they need you,

But then discard you,

Discard you out to the street.

Is one person so worthless?

One more person helped,

One more time thrown out.

The more help,

The more pain recieved.

For helping one more person.

Was that person ever needed,

Ever needed to help in the first place.

Looking from afar,

Noticing those in need.

Yet once helped,

Discarded like an old shoe.

Discarded out on the street once again.

Discarded to the wolves.

Is one person so worthless?

Worthless after help is recieved?

Worthless after wronged in any way?

Worthless even after good times?
